In a short amount of time, students, faculty and staff are having to learn new tools and technologies to manage with the transition to online learning. Below are a few tips regarding the accessibility features of a few of these technologies, to support the transition:
Teach Anywhere
- Stanford's Teach Anywhere site outlines accessibility considerations for online teaching.
Stanford Online Accessibility Program
- In addition to those platforms, the Stanford Online Accessibility Program (SOAP) provides resources for Stanford web designers, developers and content creators so that they can produce materials which are accessible to the broadest audience possible. The program achieves this through the promotion of universal design and web standards compliance. They offer accessible and inclusive tips for conducting your classess and business as we make the rapid transition to online, including how to host inclusive Zoom meetings and writing accessible documents and emails.
