This page helps you understand how disability-related accommodations connect with campus health care services, so you can access appointments, communicate with providers, and get the support you need. Whether it’s ongoing care or something unexpected, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

The Bridge offers counseling services with trained students. They are available 24 hours through their phone line and in person; no appointment is necessary.

Access The Bridge

Located on the second floor of Vaden Health Center, CAPS provides students with psychological and counseling resources. Ten free appointments with professional counselors are available to students, with continuing care available at a cost.

Stanford Hospital is a full-service Medical Center. For medical services beyond what is available through Vaden, a referral to Stanford Hospital and its connected facilities is possible. Medical emergencies are dealt with by SUMC.

Access the Stanford University Medical Center

Vaden is the first place to go with illnesses or medical concerns. The medical care is free for enrolled students; however, the cost of hospitalization, surgery, physician fees and prescriptions is NOT covered. If you require care that is beyond what Vaden can provide, they will assist you in a referral to the appropriate local medical resource. Always bring your student ID and/or proof of insurance to Vaden.
