Mason Chow
Hello there, my name is Mason Chow, and I’ve been an alternate format specialist at OAE since 2015. I earned a degree in Graphic Communications from Cal Poly SLO and worked in the printing industry before moving into accessibility. That background has been a strong foundation for my current role creating accessible materials for students with disabilities. I’m also certified by the Library of Congress as a Literary Braille Transcriber.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors. I love visiting state and national parks, especially when it involves camping and exploring new trails. I’ve recently taken up pickleball, which has been a fun and social way to stay moving. At home, I enjoy cooking and find joy in trying new recipes and sharing meals with family and friends. Though I’ve stepped away from skiing and long-distance running due to a knee injury, I continue to find fulfillment in nature, meaningful activities, and connecting with others.
