Kamilah Richmond Ed.D, LCSW
Hello! I'm Kamilah (she/her), Disability Adviser in the Office of Accessible Education (OAE). I hold a Bachelor's degree in Social work from California State University, Fresno, a Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California (USC), and a Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. In my role at the OAE, I bring my comment to challenging ableism through allyship, inclusion and system change to by helping students with disabilities be supported throughout their educational experience.
I am originally from the East Bay and, after spending some time in Southern California, I'm excited to return home. In my free time, I enjoy being outside, connecting with family, friends, and relearning life in the Bay Area.
