Jodie Maguire, M.Ed.

Greetings, I am Jodie (she/her) and I am a Disability Adviser at the OAE. I am originally from Australia. I have lived in the United States and specifically the Bay Area for over 20 years. I have a background in Education working with students in high school and universities. I hold a Masters in Educational Studies - Guidance, Counseling and Careers, from the University of Queensland, Australia. I also have a Postgraduate Diploma in Criminology and a Graduate Diploma in Second Language Teaching (Japanese). I am passionate about working with students with disabilities in accessing equitable educational opportunities.I have previously worked at Bond University in Australia and CSU Monterey Bay. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, including our two dogs, a Golden Retriever “Tiggy” and Maltese Terrier “Snowy”, and our two kitties “Chia” and “Banjo”. I also enjoy travel, reading and catching up with friends.
