Hello! I’m Antonia DeMichiel, Disability Advising Manager at the Office of Accessible Education. I studied International Studies with a focus on Development in Latin America at the University of Oregon and hold a Master’s in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of San Francisco.

A native of Berkeley, I have been working in Disability Services since 2018 at a variety of institution types around the Bay Area. My work is informed by my lived experience as a physically disabled woman, the social model of disability, and tenets of the disability justice movement. My goal is to partner with students, faculty and campus partners to understand the impacts of your disability and remove barriers that inhibit an equitable academic and campus experience here at Stanford. In my free time I enjoy traveling, exploring new restaurants, hanging out with my calico cat Molly and working on my postcard collecting hobby.
