Voices from the Stanford Disability Community Panel Discussion & Social Hour | Fri 10/25, 3-5 pm

To celebrate the launch of the Disability at Stanford Oral History Project, the Stanford Historical Society Oral History Program and the Diversity & Access Office invite you to an interactive panel discussion and social hour. Engage with the disability community at Stanford to learn more about its history of activism and how current programming is elevating disability and increasing opportunities for engagement and belonging. Voices from the Stanford Disability Community: Lived Experience and Advocacy—Past, Present, and Future

Date: Friday, October 25th

Time: 3-5pm 

Location: Student Services Building, 563 Salvatierra Walk, 1st Floor Conference Room

Panelists will include students, alumni, faculty and staff who will reflect on their day-to-day experience of living with disability at Stanford, their engagement in disability advocacy on campus, and opportunities for the Stanford disability community going forward. Interview clips from the Disability Project also will be shown, with a reception at the new Disability Community Space (DisCo) to follow.
