Concerns & Complaints

Main content start

Stanford University has both informal and formal mechanisms for students who have a concern that they may have been discriminated against on the basis of disability, or may not have received a disability-related accommodation, service and/or auxiliary aid they should have received.

If the interactive process with the OAE, faculty, or student does not yield an agreed-upon accommodation or service, the student may consult with the Compliance Officer at the Diversity and Access Office who will attempt to facilitate an information resolution. Or the student may file a formal complaint in timely manner.

You can learn more about the student Grievance and Complaint Resolution Process here.
